Program Highlights New Vintage Discovery Pass June 14 – 22, 2008

Your passport to 2 weekends of wine and culinary adventures at local wineries across Niagara. Award winning wineries invite you to toast the summer of 2008 with the first vintages from 2007.
Several wineries will also be featuring rare blends, back vintages, special tastings, Icewines and more. If you are a fan of the vine, these are the weekends to visit wine country. A Discovery Pass is your key to six wine and culinary experiences, plus additional special offers from Festival partners.

The New Vintage Grille
June 21st, 2008

The Food Network and TD Canada Trust present an unforgettable evening celebrating Niagara’s wine and culinary bounty. The finest local ingredients are blended by award-winning regional chefs into delectable culinary offerings paired with the finest in VQA wines. Niagara’s wineries will be uncorking their finest bottles offering an exclusive preview of the first releases of the new vintage. The evening’s celebrations feature Food Network celebrity chef Anna Olson holding a live taping for her new series ‘Fresh’ during the event. Stoll the scenic grounds, enjoy cooking demonstrations, local cheese tastings from the Dairy Farmers of Canada, Starbucks coffee seminars, live jazz entertainment at the centre stage and so much more. Come and discover the fabulous food and wine offerings grown in your backyard.
